1. Introduction
Welcome to Bax Box!
These Terms and Conditions govern your use of the Bax Box website and your purchase of digital software products from our online store.
Bax Box is operated by Alexander Bax, a UK sole trader trading under the name Bax Box.

3. Our Products
Bax Box specialises in downloadable mini web applications and digital productivity tools.
Our catalogue may include:
- Clocks, timers and countdown tools.
- Productivity and task management applications.
- Wedding and event planning dashboards.
- Personal organisation tools.
- Business and administrative applications.
- Other downloadable digital software products.
Our applications are generally intended for offline use, subject to the technical requirements and features described on each product page.
Each product listing will provide relevant information about its functions, compatibility, file format and usage requirements.
4. Product Information and Compatibility
We aim to describe our products accurately and clearly.
Before purchasing, customers should review the product description and any stated system requirements.
Some applications may require a compatible web browser, operating system or other software.
Not every application will necessarily work on every device.
If a product is incorrectly described, faulty or does not meet applicable statutory requirements, your legal rights remain unaffected.
5. Prices and Payments
All prices are displayed in pounds sterling (GBP), unless otherwise stated.
Any applicable taxes will be presented in accordance with relevant legal requirements.
Payment must be completed before access to purchased digital products is provided.
Payments may be processed through Stripe or another payment provider identified during checkout.
Bax Box does not intentionally store complete payment card details on its own servers.
We reserve the right to change product prices for future purchases. Price changes will not affect orders already accepted.
6. Placing an Order
To purchase a product:
- Select the digital application or bundle you wish to buy.
- Review the product information and price.
- Add the product to your basket.
- Complete the checkout process.
- Submit your order and payment.
Before placing an order, you will have the opportunity to review and correct your order information.
Your order constitutes an offer to purchase the selected products.
A contract is formed when Bax Box accepts your order, normally through an order acceptance or confirmation email identifying the purchased products.
We may decline an order where there is a legitimate reason, such as suspected fraud, an obvious pricing error or inability to supply the product. Where payment has already been collected for an order we cannot fulfil, it will be refunded.
7. Digital Delivery
Bax Box products are supplied electronically.
Following successful payment and order acceptance, customers will normally receive access to their purchased downloads through an order confirmation page, email or customer account.
No physical product will be shipped unless explicitly stated.
Customers are responsible for downloading and securely storing their purchased files.
Any download limits or access periods will be clearly disclosed before purchase.
Where digital content is not supplied as agreed, customers retain their rights under applicable consumer law.
8. Digital Product Licence
Unless a product listing expressly provides otherwise, purchasing an application grants the customer a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable licence to use that application for personal or internal business purposes.
The purchase does not transfer ownership of the application’s intellectual property.
Customers must not, unless expressly authorised or permitted by law:
- Resell or redistribute purchased application files.
- Publish the software for public download.
- Claim ownership or authorship of the software.
- Share licensed copies with unauthorised third parties.
- Remove proprietary notices or licensing information.
Customers may make copies reasonably necessary for their permitted use and where required by applicable law.
Any additional product-specific licence terms will be identified before purchase.
Mandatory legal rights relating to software use, including applicable rights concerning interoperability, are not excluded.
9. Refunds and Cancellation Rights
Digital content purchases are subject to applicable UK consumer protection laws.
Consumers purchasing digital content online may ordinarily have a 14-day cancellation right.
Where a customer expressly consents to digital content being supplied during the cancellation period, acknowledges that they will lose their cancellation right when supply begins, and the trader provides the legally required confirmation, the statutory cancellation right may be lost once supply begins.
Where these requirements have not been met, the customer’s cancellation rights may continue to apply.
Bax Box will not treat a purchase or download alone as sufficient evidence that a customer has validly waived their cancellation right.
Customers also retain statutory remedies where digital content is faulty, not as described or otherwise fails to meet applicable legal requirements.
Please refer to our Refund and Cancellation Policy for further information.
Nothing in these Terms and Conditions excludes or restricts statutory consumer rights.
10. Faulty Digital Products
We aim to provide software that meets its description and functions as advertised on compatible devices.
If a purchased application is faulty, customers should contact us with their order number and a description of the issue.
Under applicable UK consumer law, customers may be entitled to repair, replacement, a price reduction or a refund, depending on the circumstances.
We will assess and respond to complaints in accordance with our legal obligations.
11. Software Updates and Support
Product descriptions will identify any specific support or update commitments included with a purchase.
Unless expressly promised, the purchase of a downloadable application does not automatically include indefinite feature upgrades, customisation or ongoing technical support.
We may release corrections, updates or improvements where appropriate.
Any updates required to fulfil contractual commitments or applicable legal obligations will be handled accordingly.
12. Customer Accounts
Customers may be offered the option to create an account to manage purchases and downloads.
Account holders are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of their login details.
Customers should notify Bax Box if they suspect unauthorised access to their account.
We may restrict accounts where reasonably necessary to prevent fraud, security threats or serious breaches of these Terms and Conditions, subject to applicable legal obligations.
13. Acceptable Website Use
Visitors must not use the Bax Box website to:
- Commit fraud or engage in unlawful activities.
- Attempt unauthorised access to website systems or accounts.
- Distribute malicious software.
- Interfere with website functionality or security.
- Infringe the intellectual property rights of Bax Box or third parties.
We may take proportionate action to protect our website, customers and systems.
14. Intellectual Property
The Bax Box name, website content, graphics and other original materials may be protected by intellectual property laws.
Individual applications may contain intellectual property owned by Bax Box or licensed from third-party developers and rights holders.
Purchasing an application does not grant ownership of its underlying intellectual property.
Customers receive only the usage rights specified in the applicable licence agreement.
15. Website Availability
We aim to keep the Bax Box website accessible and functioning correctly.
Occasional maintenance, technical issues or service interruptions may occur.
We do not guarantee uninterrupted website access.
However, this does not affect our obligations to deliver purchased digital content or any rights customers have under applicable law.
16. Liability
Nothing in these Terms and Conditions excludes or restricts liability where doing so would be unlawful, including liability for death or personal injury caused by negligence, fraud or fraudulent misrepresentation.
Nothing in these Terms and Conditions limits customers’ statutory rights.
For business customers, any applicable limitations of liability must be set out in enforceable terms and will be subject to relevant legal requirements.
We are not responsible for losses arising solely from a customer’s failure to meet clearly disclosed compatibility requirements, except where applicable law provides otherwise.
17. Privacy and Personal Information
We process personal information in accordance with our Privacy Policy and applicable UK data protection law.
Please review our Privacy Policy for information about the personal data we collect, how it is used and your rights.
18. Changes to These Terms
We may update these Terms and Conditions to reflect changes in our business, services or legal requirements.
Updated terms will be published on our website with a revised date.
Changes will not retrospectively remove rights under contracts already formed.
19. Governing Law and Disputes
These Terms and Conditions are governed by the applicable laws of England and Wales.
If you are a consumer resident elsewhere in the United Kingdom, you retain any mandatory protections available under the laws applicable to you.
Nothing in these terms removes any right to bring proceedings in a court that has jurisdiction under applicable law.
We encourage customers to contact us first so that we can attempt to resolve any concerns promptly and fairly.
